Fall Semester 2020 September 8th-October 30th

We are operating at 25 percent capacity due to Covid-19 so here is how it will work:

1. 8 students max per class
2. 1 student per bench
3. Spaces will be first come, first serve but anyone who is continuing their semester from March has first dibs
4. You will either sign up on the website or if you were mid semester in March, email to tell me you are coming.
5. If a class fills, we are happy to add another at another time so be prepared that it might not be possible to get your first pick of class times if you don’t sign up right away, but we will continue to add classes to make sure you can get a class!
6. I’m not 100 percent sure what the teacher roster will be until students start signing up, etc but if you and your friends want a particular teacher, let me know and I will see if I can arrange it.
7. Anyone signing up or resuming their classes is agreeing to abide by all Covid-19 safety precautions as a condition of entering the studio. The full list of rules is below for students to peruse as to our protocols but it is all the normal and expected rules of the Covid-19 era; mandatory masks, you use it, you wipe it, maintain social distance wherever possible, etc, etc.
8. We will be prioritizing fresh air in the studio, so we will be keeping the windows wide open and multiple fans going. Although we are having our ac replaced and updated with the merv-13 filters, I think the safest thing for all of us is to have lots of fresh air, rather than recirculated air. September should be a little cooler but it’s possible we might be a little warm at times. I hate the heat more than anyone but I’m going to make our health priority one, so please bear (or bare) with me.
9. Please do not plan on eating in the studio between classes, unless you are staying all day for class. If another class is coming in, we have to make that space available without overcrowding. Normally, of course, we don’t mind but we all have to make adjustments to make this work.  I want to be able to enjoy being back with everyone, even in this limited capacity so please work with us to make this possible. We are just as stir crazy as you are but if we work together, we can get a tiny slice of our normal life back.

Oh. God. I can’t wait to get back to the studio!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Masks are mandatory at all times
2. If you use any of the shared studio tools, wipe it down afterward, just like you would at the gym
3. Maintain social distance whenever humanly possible
4. Wipe down your area, dump out and wash your water bowl, etc after class so the next student has a clean space to work in. We will have cleaners, wipes, paper towels, bleach spray, gloves etc. available for use
5. Follow all studio directives. Be in a cooperative mindset! The only way we can get through this is by working together. You might not be able to do everything just the way you might wish and you will be obligated to follow all studio directives for everyone’s comfort. We will be erring on the safe side with any decisions as to protocols because this shit can be life or death. To be honest, I’m not all that worried about this aspect because I know what an incredible (and talented) group of people we have as our community. I’m just laying it all out in these rules so there can’t be any possible misunderstanding of what you are agreeing to if you enter the studio.
6. If you have been exposed to Covid-19 or have any reason to doubt you are well, do not attend class.
7. We will be checking temperatures on entry with a touchless thermometer. If you have any fever, you can’t enter.
8. We will be disinfecting all commonly touched surfaces as often as possible and we urge you to do the same as you use the studio, along with frequent hand washing.
9. GET BACK TO BEING CREATIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
